How to Boost Your Credit Score in 30 Days

Quick Summary

Here you will find methods that may quickly and significantly improve your credit score.

Method 1 - Do it Yourself

There are two primary paths of attack to boost your credit score:

First, obviously, pay your bills on time. We don't need to discuss that further. That's not why you're here. Once the damage has happened what else can be done?

Second, remove negative items improperly appearing on your credit report.

The law says you have these rights:

* You have the right to dispute any information which is inaccurate or incomplete. If you become aware of any information shown for your credit report which is inaccurate or incomplete, and report the issue it a consumer reporting agency, your complaint must be promptly investigated unless your dispute is frivolous.

* An agency reporting a credit score must remove or correct all information it cannot verify, or which is incomplete, or which is not accurate. The agency typically has thirty days to correct or remove all information it cannot verify, of which is incomplete or not accurate.

* An agency reporting a credit score is not allowed to include negative details which are outdated. As a general rule, this means a credit score agency cannot include a bankruptcy more than ten years old or negative which occurred more than seven years ago.

* You have the right to have removed ANY information that is not verified, which is incomplete, or which is not accurate.

* The credit reporting agency is required to respond to you within thirty days after receiving your dispute. During this time is must perform an investigation. If the credit score agency cannot verify the disputed information it is reporting about you then it must delete the information.

Some disreputable people recommend challenging everything, including positive and negative information, in the hope of overburdening the credit bureau so that virtually everything has to be removed within 30 days. There are problems with this approach:

First, if the bureau determines that your complaint is frivolous then it can ignore it. Challenging everything on your credit report, or every negative item, is a red flag. You will simply be wasting your time.

TIP: If you have many items to challenge and are concerned about your dispute being labeled frivolous, only challenge several items at a time. For instance, challenge three important errors. Six months later challenge another three items, etc.

Second, the bureaus will not be overburdened. It is easy for them to verify information through computer networks.

Third, even if information is deleted because it cannot be verified within 30 days, that is not a permanent deletion. If the creditor again reports that information at a later time it will reappear on your credit report.

Credit reporting agencies commonly allow disputes to be submitted online. Or, you can mail a letter.

Check out the amazing testimonials ....

One reason for my mentioning a product like this is, as an attorney, I cannot suggest "underground" tactics even if they may be effective.

Since I have not seen the report I can't comment, except to note the amazing testimonials and dirt cheap price. Since you've got nothing to lose except for a bad credit rating that makes it easy for me to suggest you see if it is for you.
